Description

An open-ended novel by Val McDermid formed the basis of the innovative events and communications project "Mission MINI", which was implemented in three phases on the MINI website. All eyes are on Sam Cooper, a detective commissioned to get to the bottom of a mysterious art theft in Barcelona. When his MINI Cooper goes missing as well, he calls upon the services of super sleuths from all four corners of the globe. On the website, users gain access to Sam Cooper's Notebook, log in to the independent database S.O.L.V.E.D. and then discover all facts necessary to start their investigations. The story is then continued in real-life: after submitting online applications, 84 hand-picked hobby detectives solve the case on the streets of Barcelona – behind the wheel of a MINI Cooper S.
