Description

To reach sports fans and communicate MLB 06: The Show’s authentic baseball experience, we took a humorous look at three fictional minor-league players who were obviously not ready for the next level, and posed the challenge, “Are you ready for The Show?”Where TV and print only introduced the players, the microsite allowed us to tell a deeper story about the shortcomings that kept each player from reaching “The Show.” By expanding on those stories, the microsite also increased the relevance of the characters and solidified them as entertaining caricatures of baseball culture that real fans appreciated.
