Digital radio was selected as a great channel to demonstrate the benefit of our superior network, using content from music festivals that Young Active Funs love. Two of the most popular stations - Q and Mojo - have great live music credentials.And so 'Q Fest' was born.Q Fest became an unmissable part of the two stations' programming with bespoke festival coverage including listings, exclusive performances and star interviews throughout June 2005.
Outcome
The stations loved the editorial contribution and so did the listeners. We got over 6,500 competition entries.Most importantly, we over-achieved our primary goal. The key metric was 'Leading mobile phone network'. Vodafone jumped from being 5 to 12 points ahead of the competition by the end of June.
