Description
Contemporary Art can change your perspective, so everything we designed for Canada's Museum of Contemporary Art was transformed into an artwork itself. Every item from small to large was designed to challenge convention, using surprising materials, processes and formats to make a big impression.
Execution
300 posters were numbered by hand, turning these event invitations into a limited edition artwork. Spray paint on rough newsprint convey the industrial and raw look of the old factory that the Museum will be occupying.
Outcome
The media and art community definitely took notice of the invitations' unexpected format and execution, resulting in an event packed to capacity. Buzz and curiousity within the community was also generated about the Museum's new direction.
