Three different illustrators crafted six different posters – one for each generation of the Ford Mustang. They were all inspired by rock'n'roll album covers and concert posters from each era, which means the posters had different artistic aspects and details that linked them to which generation of the car and of the genre, as well as different design choices and inspirational references, with the Mustang being the link between all of them. It all started as a social media stunt that became so successful that they were printed and sent to people who shared the artwork on their social media, so they could stick the posters to their walls – just like classic rock'n'roll art.
