Description
To get past with this huge barrier, we decided to relaunch the e-commerce site TiendaNaranja.com developing -Naranja View-, a platform based on Google Street View in which the users could tour online shops where they could buy from the comfort of their home. Customers are able see all the products in detail, know and see the face of the seller and interact with them directly.
This idea solves not only a problem that we faced in Argentina but also one that is also happening in many other underdeveloped countries in the region, in terms of the e-commerce industry.
Execution
Using the technology of Google Street View, we uploaded the interior of several store throughout the country at TiendaNaranja.com.
The site provides the opportunity to meet retailers and sellers face to face virtually and interact with them.
We developed an app for cardboard that allows customers to browse inside the shops.
Outcome
The action was a success for all the retail partners associated with Tarjeta Naranja.
We increased visits by 900% at TiendaNaranja.com and users by1000%.
The average interaction time was 4 minutes +.
The number of transactions rose by 400%, and billing of Tienda Naranja increased 600% (compared to the same period the previous year).
But most important: now the people trust more in online shopping.
