Iced-lollies have been offered in pedestrian areas. The stick was prepared with a message, letting the target group experience the consequences of global warming in a direct way. As well as people enjoying the summer and the tasty ice, they could become aware of the changes in the global climate. An attractive packaging for facts that are more difficult to digest.
Outcome
All 1000 ice packages were distributed in less than 4 hours, resulting in an increase in website hits by 28%. More than 150 new subscribers to the NABU newsletter were registered. Additionally NABU got 72 new members through this promotion.
