Description
This campaign helped Netflix activate its social communities by promoting its main titles beyond a post or a standard studio asset.
Execution
"The Worst Gifter" was an animated short film released exclusively in our Facebook plataform. Following the video, we launched a promo in our social profiles: users were invited to share a picture of the worst gift the´ve received on holidays and the worst of the worst would receive a Netflix Giftcard as a compensation and act of justice.
Outcome
The animation was viewed over 1.5 million times and provided users a different experience for a new product launch. By developing an animated piece of content and creating a character around the gift card launch, we were able to take a single idea in to 4 different markets with 4 different levels of maturity.
