The objective of the spot was to create an immersive and relatable experience while honing in on the director's immensely popular IP. This was the first multi-product spot that the brand has done, and the goal was to incorporate all of these products in a seamless yet over-the-top and chaotic way.

"The New Guy" follows a young woman as she introduces her new boyfriend to her family during a lively gathering. As the boyfriend navigates the quirks and dynamics of the family, various products from the brand are seamlessly integrated into the storyline. The ad captures the essence of the TV show that the spot is based off of, known for its chaotic visuals and immersive storytelling. Through quick cuts and unusual angles, viewers are immersed in the pressure-cooker atmosphere of the family gathering. The ad pays homage to both the series and Homer's Odyssey, blending elements of familial dynamics with iconic branding.
