Description
We used Ed Piskor’s rendition of the AF1 story to create a giant mural on the Cinderella Shoes building (among the last standing institutions that helped save the AF1). We then weaved our message into the city with complementary events and monuments.
? A block party at Cinderella Shoes featuring live music, food, and AF1 swag.
? Ed Piskor–illustrated comic books distributed at the party and at local sneaker shops and record stores.
? Baltimore’s iconic bus benches, recreated and placed in locations that are relevant to the AF1 story.
? Custom Baltimore AF1s and T-shirts using Piskor’s graphics.
? Bronze plaques permanently installed near each of the three original shoe store locations that played a role in saving the AF1.
? Animated Instagram post driving to Nike SNKRS app for story and product.
? Collaborations with local arts program to inspire kids to create their own AF1 design.
