We created custom-made sun-visors that had different warehouse interiors printed on them. The sun-visors were then sent off to the showrooms of Nissan dealers where they were placed in the windscreens of Nissan Interstars. Vehicles being displayed at trade shows also had the sun visors in place. Potential buyers could therefore get an idea of the vast amount of space within the truck and therefore its strong carrying capacity. Buyers of the truck were given these sun-visors with their purchase so they could use them when they were out and about. This created an even further promotion for the space within the Nissan Interstar.
Outcome
The more vehicles we sell, the more exposure we will get. These devices will also have a very long shelf life and be with us for several years. In a very staid category, the idea gets talked about, which is certain to generate results.
