Background
As the most affordable German-engineered SUV in the US market, we saw an opportunity to make more people aware that the VW Taos delivers on quality, craftsmanship and style at an entry-level price.
The film would live in media placements that targeted people actively shopping for a vehicle, so it was important to drive consideration and ultimately sales with this work.
Execution
In our film, we meet a woman who can’t seem to get comfortable. Every chair is wrong — almost like Goldilocks on the hunt for the perfect fit. In cinematic style with French music, at the end we reveal that she’s at last found something “just right” in the comfort and quality of the seat in her Taos.
Outcome
The work debuted at the start of the fourth quarter 2023. Taos had a +25% better sales result year over year in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to fourth quarter 2022.
