OVERVIEW

Description

Generations of tradesmen have always had the infamous girl calendars featuring various brands of tools. OBI wants to take its place in the calendar hall of fame with its own creation.

Execution

The “stick girl” calendar – right in line with the “Great reductions” campaign. OBI is famous for quality products at rock-bottom prices. These extremely reduced prices are advertised with very minimalistic adverts showing extremely reduced products. The calendar will be displayed at cash registers in the OBI stores and will be handed out to customers as of a defined purchase amount.

Outcome

In four weeks all of the 60'000 calendars went out of stock and sales increased by 5%.
