Description
To grow awareness for OFF! insect repellent and generate trial on a tight budget in preparation for the holidays, we created a multimedia campaign based on OFF!´s high efectiveness, through an NGO committed to save mosquitoes from starvation, since human blood is very scarce: helpthemosquitoes.org. The starving mosquitoes were practically everywhere, asking for help, money and blood for their cause
Execution
We created an NGO committed to saving mosquitoes from starvation: helpthemosquitoes.org, which generated intense street word of mouth. The starving mosquitoes were practically everywhere, asking for money and blood for their cause.
Outcome
OFF! awareness increased dramatically and supermarkets ran out of product in the holiday season. Sales increased by 40% vs same period 2006 and the brand won additional exhibition with the biggest retailers.
