Description
Ogilvy is known as the place for creative mavericks. Naturally, the new office design had to reflect that attitude. Moreover, it had to inspire people working within those confined spacesto think beyond them.
Execution
In came the idea to use the SOHO type of architecture, quite popular world over for its free-spirited design sense. Add to this, quotes from famous people that were related to life in advertising and life in general and you had the perfect environment to do absolutely anything. Maintaining the house colour of black and red, the entire space came alive with some smart use of typography. In the end, every wall said something to every passer-by.
Outcome
The design was well appreciated by the agency, by clients and others. There are talks of other Ogilvy offices adapting the design as well.
