We designed a piece that can be used as a tray liner and placemat in pointof purchase locations. This is an interactive ad that will illustrate howmouths get dirty after emails. When customers place their food on top of thetray liner and placemats these will inevitably get stains and will look asif the mouth was unclean, just what happens after customers finish theirmeals. People feel the need to chew gum when they are done eating andbecause this advertisement is right in the point of purchase they canimmediately remember to buy Orbit Gum.
Outcome
50,000 tray liners increased sales 37% in the locations where they wereplaced because the product was right in front of customers. They were alsopresented to other cafeteria and restaurant owners to invite them to saleOrbit Gum in their locations. 69% of them said yes so these ads helpedWrigley’s get new business. Clean mouths, clean business!
