Background
Situation: Germany’s leading online retailer, OTTO, had to increase sales of selected products.
Brief: Launch an online campaign under the slogan "OTTO Shopping Festival" that celebrates its products.
Objectives: Generate awareness for the Philips Ambilight TV and the LED Sound Couch and increase sales.
Description
Under the slogan "OTTO Shopping Festival" we produced two entertaining films that showed the delivery by the OTTO employees and the extreme reaction of the customers. As they come in contact with the product they freak out in a funny manner.
The film "Dog" shows the delivery of an LED Sound Couch. The dog jumps on it and triggers the light- and soundsystem. Suddenly the dog freaks out and sings opera and dances ballet.
Execution
The films were posted in different lengths on social media and went viral immediately. They were supported by further social media activities and a display banner flight.
