We came up with mouse pads – with wrist support made of special material and containing the fragrance. These mouse pads were put in upscale cafes offering complimentary computer time with internet access.When they opened the web browser, a splash page greeted and informed them they are about to sample the new fragrance. Then they were instructed to lift their right arm and smell their wrists.
Outcome
By indentifying a new channel, sampling rate was increased and thus the sales.
