Guide dogs for the blind became our chosen charity as they were in desperate need of financing and perfectly encapsulated trust and partnership.But we faced a population that had no culture for sponsorship style giving, during a period where EVERY charity was communicating in order to secure 1% of the population’s taxable income.Simply being loud was not going to win; we needed people to really understand how important these dogs were and the only way to do that was to experience it.Through the experiences of the 2 biggest stars of the biggest show of the moment (X Faktor) we opened Hungary’s eyes. Our star supporters completed a route across Budapest blind folded with the help of guide dogs and through the shocking headline of “X Faktor stars go blind” we brought the message home.

Outcome

Our charity received a significant increase in donations on the back of the significant coverage in media.We showcased our abilities in person to trade, media, existing clients and new clients through the buzz we created and by involving everyone on the day.PHD’s local team also became the focal point for media interviews where we received significant national and trade coverage.The resulting case study has played its part in keeping ALL clients as well as winning more business.As one of the smallest offices in the network we became the flagship of the event globally.
