For T-Mobile we adapted Germany’s best known sailor song which is “Junge, komm bald wieder, bald wieder nach Haus*!”(Boy, come back soon ....) and changed it into “Junge, ruf bald wieder, bald wieder mal an!*”(Boy, call back soon). On top the vistors even sang the song when bidding farewell to the ocean liner!
Outcome
This giant poster in Hamburg attracted more than 500 000 people. Using several events in Germany and with emotional giant outdoor formats nationwide, the visibility index was effectively raised by 180 % vs. p.y. and even dominated the competitor’s visibility in 2005!
