To support Universal’s musical comedy Pitch Perfect, MTV tapped into the latest viral craze, lip-dub, to create a co-branded video starring the cast of the movie and celebrating the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards nominees.

Set to Nicki Minaj’s infectious song "Starships," the choreographed performance featured music fanatics inspired by notable nominees such as Katy Perry, Gotye, Skrillex and Minaj herself.

The VMA Moon Man also made a special appearance with the first-ever domestic rendition of "Gangnam Style" from K-Pop sensation, PSY.
