Description

You can’t show Naked on television. That was the original premise behind this spot for a new Herbal Essences product called Naked. And because Naked can’t be shown on TV, we didn’t show it. A girl goes to the supermarket to buy shampoo, with her boyfriend filming her as a kind of home movie. In her hand, an object is pixilated. At home, he follows her as she does this and that, and she carries the pixilated object into the bathroom where he films her in the shower washing her hair. The bottle and liquid are pixilated always, as is the hair when it comes into contact with the shampoo. From now, the hair is Naked, so it too must be concealed. They drive to a club. They party with friends. They take a midnight swim. The Naked hair, too hot for television, is never seen.
