Description
Sony required a website to support the global launch of the PSP, a revolutionary handheld entertainment console enabling users to watch movies, download music and much more.
The principle aims of the site were to generate interest pre-launch (providing functionality and content information), and provide additional content and functionality post launch. The site is currently being developed as a full e-commerce destination, providing the complete PSP brand experience. Initially built to attract an audience of previous adopters, the site was later broadened for a wider audience, reflective of the PSP being an ‘entertainment’ platform rather than solely a gaming device.
