Nothing is more important for those who embrace their homosexuality than having the support of the family - especially their mothers. That’s why the 2019 Queer Lisboa campaign would like to make a tribute to these "pride moms" that support their gay children.

The film “Pride Moms” opens with a mother asking to the camera - “Have you just find out that your son is gay? So what you should have to say to him is this …”

The mother takes a step back and join a choir made by real mothers (with gay sons or daugthers). They start to sing the famous song “You are so beautiful”, immortalized by Joe Cocker’s voice.

The pay-off explains everything: Queer Lisboa. Supporting moms like moms have supported us.
