Execution

We brought together the creator of the world’s largest model railroad with a photographer specializing in miniatures. Together, using Sony’s QX100 camera they captured this space like never before. The first part of the site is a 4-minute documentary shot on location in the 52,000 square foot exhibit. The second part is an interactive exploration of the massive miniature world through the lens of the QX100. Visitors can explore 3 massive panoramas made up of thousands of photos by rotating the lens to change views, using a mechanical zoom to discover tiny details and taking pictures to share with friends.

Outcome

Perception around the brand shifted from negative to positive, and significant traffic was driven to Sony's product site. Brand relevance saw an increase and positive mentions in social media far outnumbered negative.
