Execution

RACE my MESSAGE was built as a Facebook and optimised mobile App. To play, just:

1. Type a short message and the words build a unique racetrack.

2. Next, test your skills on your track then send to a friend so they can race and reveal your message.

3. Race ‘official’ tracks too, including one created by rally star Ken Block that contained a special message for you to reveal.

4. Compete against Ken, share your lap times via Facebook and invite friends to try and beat them.

Outcome

RACE my MESSAGE proved an entertaining way to reach our target audience via a highly relevant media. The campaign:

Demonstrated the cars’ features in a new and involving way.

Enabled users to challenge each other through everyday messages.

Effectively promoted the Ford ST brand to over 112,000 potential buyers across Europe.
