The choice of music was important – as well as being ear-catching and unusual, “Plantasia” by Mort Garson was originally created to help plants grow, which aligns nicely with the premise of the commercial and also the Journal’s mission; to help their readers grow and progress. The track also emphasizes the satirical nature of the film, keeping it light despite the serious underlying message.
