We contacted Youtube-star Steve McGranahan, better known as the self-proclaimed “World's Strongest Redneck” to ask if we could use one of his videos for our campaign. After his permission the video was placed online and seeded to different blogs & websites famous for their fail-movies.
Outcome
During the first four weeks of the campaign website-visits on http://www.reborntobealive.be/ quadrupled, and the video quickly got more than 300.000 views. The amount of Belgian & European people signing up to become a donor had been increasing for the last few years, but knew an even bigger boost during and after the launch of our campaign. Also the number of people signing up not to become a donor decreased compared to the average decrease.
