Lucia, a young girl in the Philippines, is singing “Mr. Golden Sun” at a recital. Her voice fades into the background and award-winning actor James Cromwell narrates the VO. He explains a parallel chain of tragic events that was averted thanks to Lucia’s family now having a solar lamp from non-profit Watts Of Love, instead of a kerosene one, which kill over 2 million people a year and maim more women and children than are diagnosed with HIV and TB combined. Lucia though no longer has to worry about this because her solar lamp is giving her a brighter future.
