Brief: A Flight Operations Assistant isn’t the most glamorous job in the RAF, but the FOAs that we met were enthusiastic about the diversity of their jobs – especially when the civvy street alternative would be packing shelves.Solution: We gave an FOA a mobile phone and asked her to document her life for two weeks in the form of SMS, video and photography. Content was sent from the handset straight to a database where it was turned into an RSS feed which, in turn, populated the advertising, and gave people a glimpse of the life of an FOA.
