The film, to celebrate the relaunched Rijksmuseum, puts original Dutch music upfront featuring seven high-profile Dutch musicians a.o. Lavinia Meijer, Sietse van Gorkum and Morris Kliphuis playing live for passersby in the museums public walkway. The Ambassadors were brought on board at the start of the production process to compose an impactful piece of music employing reversed engineering, whereby production focuses on, and takes its lead from the music track, rather than the other way around. The film evolved around the music and is thereby an essential element.
