OVERVIEW

Background

We had to promote the new pet collection of IKEA on Facebook and activate the users to enter the link of the collection on IKEA's website. Available budget for promoting posts - 40 EUR.

Idea

The new pet collection is here, so IKEA cannot stop purrrRRRrr-ing.

Strategy

We aired one simple post - rrrRRRrr - which looked like a mistake, made by the admins of IKEA's Facebook page. People accepted it as a stupid thing but on the other day IKEA kept on speaking only with the letter R in every post. People started asking questions and IKEA answered to all of them, but again with rrrRRrr.

Execution

For 48 hours IKEA Bulgaria was only rrrRRrr-ing in every Facebook post and comment. Was it weird? Sure. But also on purpose.

Outcome

With just 40 EUR for promoting one post, we had people clicking the link and visiting the collection on the website - 3 times more than usual.
