Description
“Safe-driving Miles” is an App that makes drivers aware of the use of cell phones while driving and which is also used to retain current clients. We implemented a campaign trough the insurance agents aimed at our consumers that were renewing their contracts with us. Agents told the consumer about the benefits of going into this new plan, directly assisted him into the installation process and remarked that the participation was completely free.
A vast majority of all renewed clients downloaded the app and started to use it, giving us 10,300 downloads. Among our costumers the awareness of the responsible use of cell phones while driving increased 165% and the distraction accidents in the first six months of use of the App decreased 36%. Also the word to mouth effect impacted on a 48% growth on car insurance renewal. We also started to build the brand awareness about SEGUROS BANORTE as the most modern company in the category, and a social responsible company with their customers at any moment, even before any kind of accident.
