Description
Most people don’t like talking to sales agents. To get around that, we replaced our human employees for a trained parrot to sell pet insurance. Because nothing is more relevant than hearing about pet insurance straight from a pet.
Execution
A professional animal trainer was hired to train the parrot how to promote the pet insurance. After three months of intense learning, we toured the parrot through pet store chains all over the county. A built-in tablet was a part of the installation, where customers could learn more about the pet insurance service, buy it, or leave their e-mail addresses for further information.
Outcome
The traffic to the product website reached the highest numbers in history. Over 2.300 e-mail leads were generated. And there was an 18% increase in pet insurance sales. The story got picked up by media channels across the country, proving that the parrot’s talent found its audience even beyond the stunt.
