Description
To create the Cv resume of unemployed women who escaped domestic violence, we gave to ten battered women the opportunity to discover skills and abilities they didn’t know they had and to regain their self-confidence to find a job.
Execution
We enabled 10 women gain economic independence by offering them the opportunity to create and execute a Tv commercial for Telefono Rosa, the most important association in Italy for assisting female victims of domestic violence. The women were assisted by professionals and every one of them had a production role. They also acted in the commercial.
The advert against domestic violence went on-air on the Italian most famous Tv-channels. The making-of of the commercial was recorded in a documentary that has been successfully shown to an audience of HR and recruitment professionals during two events, in Milan and Rome.
Outcome
The results were impressive. Thanks to Women Run the Show, today the 10 women work for different companies. They become a role model for all victims of domestic violence and they are now living a new life. The project had 7 Million media impressions and 2 Million people reached. 490 companies and stakeholders have participated, like Conde Nast, American Express, Accenture, Vodafone and more.
Samsung Electronics Italy participates for the first time to the Italian Film & Art Festival, an annual event that has now reached its 8th edition, organized by Italcinema to present Italian latest films and culture to Korean people in order to promote the cultural exchange between the two countries. During the Festival, Samsung Electronics introduced Women Run the Show. the Italian Ambassador in South Korea, Marco Della Seta, and all the main representatives of Italian associations and companies attended the event.
