Background

Facing ever-changing landscape, post pandemic attendees’ behaviour and demographics, Sibos needs to stay relevant and connected to their community. The challenge of creating new communication possibilities and experiences for industry leading speakers and conference sessions, partners, and multiple networking events to position Sibos is still the perfect platform to collectively shape the future of the sector.

The objectives are to unlock a new realm of communication possibilities with reimagined experiences and hyper targeted activations.

Idea

Always ON with SIBOS

Amidst the industry discussions and innovation showcases at Sibos 2023, one enduring principle is the unwavering importance of putting the Sibos participants at the centre of everything we do. To create an omnichannel and hyper targeted activations that serve as the conduit through which value is delivered to participants, and crafting experiences that resonate with them not just at the event but 360 days. The attendees can seamlessly move between channels on their journey with SIBOS and unified around the main conference theme- “Collaborative Finance in a Fragmented World”.

Strategy

From past event insights, the Sibos participants like to maximise their conference and networking experience during the four days event. Our approach is to take it further and go beyond the annual four days events and provide the “Always ON” Sibos experience by leveraging technology and creative design thinking to achieve the following: -

On-ground real time digital wayfinding and digital concierge through the Sibos Apps will make it easy to catch the packed conference sessions that are most important to the attendees.

Keep track of personalised list of must-see sessions and request private meetings.

Immersive and impactful conference experiences:

Enhanced thematic stages with dynamic digital content assets.

Immersive thematic networking spaces

Anamorphic 4D show with laser and live performance to present the theme and usher the opening plenary.

NFT Gamification to connect the community across the stages.

Sibos TV studio for live streaming and interviews

With so many sessions taking place, it can be challenging for participants to attend everything. However, participants can access the digital tool to view sessions live or on demand.

The event's hybrid model was a success, garnering high engagement with both onsite and the accompanying 2,500 virtual attendees, achieving high satisfaction ratings from attendees. With at least a 9/10 rating given for the event, it was a significant 46% increase of high ratings from previous editions.

Sibos distinguishes its industry prominence and relevancy that is set to drive industry-wide changes and strategy, highlighting Sibos' role in driving sectoral evolution and public engagement. Its global impact and endorsements from industry leaders solidify its position as a pivotal event.
