Execution

The Siemens Healthineers brand positioning laid the ground for an updated brand design and a new sound.

Inspiration for the new sound was found in the company’s logo and its brand design elements.

For the Sound Logo the word mark was pictured on a piano by playing H, E, A, H, E, and E from the “Healthineers” on a piano (In Germany the "H" is the equivalent of the English "B"). The letters that have no corresponding piano keys were turned into the sound of a digital heartbeat.

The design element “the Dot Pulse” (Fibonacci design scale) was used horizontally for the dimension of rhythm and vertically for the dimension of pitch.

In addition to developing a complete sound scape that covers all main brand touchpoints, a piece of health-oriented music was selected to improve customer experience and lead to relaxation, mindfulness, and stress-relief.
