In order to show a new and self ironic interpretation of the products the Siemens dealers sell every day, the agency developed a book of fairy tales, that was given to the top dealers on the company Christmas party. The story book demonstrates with a fair amount of black humour the effects of Siemens household appliances on "Heinzelmaennchen". These are friendly little gnomes who – in German mythology – clean the house at night.
Outcome
The client’s positive feedback and the response of the dealers showed that the humourous present had hit the target. Both Siemens managers and authorized dealers ordered more copies of the fairy tale book for private use and as give aways for their friends and colleagues.
