Engage Works was briefed to create a dynamic, interactive and innovative centre to help communicate this message to the everyday person.

Siemens wanted to create a lasting experience that would educate visitors to the Ingenuity for life centre, on how Siemens helps bring cities to life, while contributing to the development of a strong, knowledge-based economy, for generations to come.

The new brand promise prompted the work, with the regional launch taking place in the second quarter of 2016 and the Ingenuity for life centre launching in the fourth quarter of 2016.

A key challenge was changing the perception of Siemens to the everyday public. The brand story needed to evoke an understanding for what Siemens does and move away from a b2b tone of voice, to human centric story-telling.

The final objective, was to deliver an overall solution within budget.

Its regional headquarters strategically sits within Masdar City, a company dedicated to strengthening the role of clean energy in the global energy mix.

Siemens is one of the world’s largest producers of energy-efficient, resource-saving technologies. It’s a leading supplier of systems for power generation and transmission, as well as medical diagnosis. In infrastructure and industry solutions the company plays a pioneering role. Its mission to ‘make real what matters’, works alongside its passion for engineering and with its customers and stakeholders, to help improve the lives of people today and in the generations to come. Traditionally communicating their technology and solutions on a b2b level, Ingenuity for life gave Siemens a strong, and global, platform in which to market/communicate to a b2c audience.
