Description
Our brief was to develop new SKITTLES logotype that would be used across many mediums an executions when the actual packaging was not used. It will live on everything from print ads to baseball hats, internal documents to race cars.
Execution
We were able to incorporate the exact type from the SKITTLES packaging, a new symmetrical rainbow design that compliments the graphic design on the infamous television commercials, and classic logo design aesthetic to result in a timeless mark that seems a bit retro and modern at the same time. And it can naturally fit in among the logos from other youth culture icons like gaming, extreme sports companies or rock bands.
Outcome
The new SKITTLES mark is now being rolled into everything from the website navigator to the brand style guide, and the client is so in love with the logo that a serious brand merchandising initiative is being planned.
