Description
Since Portugal was the host of the European Football Championship, we managed a joint-venture between Adidas and Portugal Telecom, creating a new interactive support to link them with a wide target audience, effectively promoting services and products. The FunPhone consisted of a giant official soccer ball similar to the one designed for the event, made of fiberglass, installed on existing phone booths in 100 points all over the country. On the inside, surrounding the telephone, the information regarding a "call and win" promotion was displayed.
Outcome
This new medium was a success. As identifiable landmark, the customised phone booths are still in use, which pleases the client greatly. The overall acceptance was very high and the use of phone booths increased. As a new link with the customers, the client was also very satisfied.
