OVERVIEW

Execution

‘What Agnes Saw’ is a short film highlighting the story of Agnes Keleti, the oldest-living Olympic champion at 100 years old. Keleti was a top Olympic prospect, but with the escalation of World War II, both the 1940 and 1944 Games were cancelled, and she was expelled from her gymnastics club for being Jewish. Keleti then survived the Nazi advance on Hungary and went on to become a 10-time Olympic medalist in gymnastics.

In “What Agnes Saw,” we see the changing world through her eyes – highlighting barrier breaking moments she has seen during her lifetime in the Olympic spotlight. The spot closes with a look at the next generation, with a focus on Team GB’s youngest Olympian competing at Tokyo 2020, 13-year-old skateboarder Sky Brown.

The inspiring story shows sport can be a light in a time of uncertainty, and reminds that together, we are stronger.
