21Z is just a fancy way of saying 2005 models. To build momentum for their spring 2004 launch, we created and delivered this microsite in December 2003. Target was a database of interested customers. The idea was to reveal as little as possible while leaving customers hungry for more. With no mention of the manufacturer, we created a smoky jazzy 'what’s that car?' vibe complete with soundtrack, light effects and more. At the end, users we encouraged to opt-in to find out the name of the manufacturer.
