SUBWAY sent out a Christmas card to all of their franchises this year created to celebrate the `We’ve got a sub for that’ campaign.The idea was to bring some Christmas spirit to `We’ve got a sub for that’ in a way that put a smile on the face of the viewer. The result was an execution around `Whatever Christmas brings, there’s a sub for that’ that used stills of good and bad Christmas moments - some cheeky, some random, some classic.
The execution used a ping sound every time the `sub for that’ arrow appeared to play the tune of `We Wish You A Merry Christmas’ over these Christmas images to amusing effect. We end on `Whatever Christmas Brings’ illuminated in Christmas lights, `There’s a sub for that’ arrow appears one more time and finally the Subway logo.
