A unique collaboration with the auction site ”Tradera”, who handles over a million auctions per week, made it possible to sell things and send the money straight to this campaign. This had never been done before. All you had to do was to mark your auction with ”Hunger”.
A series of documentary TVC:s showed different kinds of people all over Sweden selling their stuff.
The next stage of the campaign was the ”Social Auction”. We built an auction site where you could sell a haircut, a dog walk, a taco dinner with your family, a stroll in the park or whatever – either to your Facebook friends or to anyone. The auctions could be shared in social media, for your friends to comment or place a bid.
Outcome
Fundraising events took place in over 5,000 places in Sweden.The campaign raised 6m dollars.
