For Halls, the cool mist fan is the medium and the medium is the message! Its height, the strategic location, the mist and the branding of “Cool & Refreshing” means consumers are able to get the message clearly. What better way to combat heat during this hot and humid weather condition than Halls cool mist fans and the ‘Cool & Refreshing’ sensation that consumers see and experience.

Outcome

Positive consumer feedback has resulted in the extension of advertising from two-months to the full year of 2005.Besides owning Halls mist fans, the two popular eateries are perceived as ‘Halls Cool & Refreshing’ zones (research finding).Phase two is currently being rolled out to extend the campaign to nationwide coverage.
