Description

Telstra - Australia’s largest telco - needed to generate traffic to their moving home website, where customers could disconnect and reconnect their home phone services, as well as discover other useful moving tips and information. A strong on-line component was required to support the mainstream campaign, depicting the Telstra W’s helping people move.Targeting mover relevant URL’s (real estate sites, Yellow Pages, etc) the D-HTML/flash format enabled us to deliver high impact creative that clearly demonstrated the notion of ‘moving’ and convenience of using the Telstra website. This successfully directed traffic to the tower banner and eventual click through to the website.‘Fish-bowl’ was one component of our online campaign. Upon load up, the animated W’s quickly sprang into action, efficiently catching the falling fish bowl and fish before entering the ‘doorway’. The animated tower banner then detailed the functions of the site with the key message ‘before you move house, visit Telstra moving home’.Unique visitors and frequency increased dramatically during the campaign, with the number of on-line disconnections/reconnections, increasing by 51%. The use of D-HTML/flash outstripped the effectiveness of HTML banners by over 300%.
