The film was all shot with a hand-held camera. No rigs, no cranes, nothing. Just a director of photography/director and his camera, giving the film an intimate feel and exploring the "fly on the wall" type of film-making. Since the cast were real people and the story was real, we had to resort to a technique that made them comfortable and transmitted the intimacy between father and son.
