Background
After years of highlighting the £30 million a week that National Lottery players raise for Good Causes, we needed to make The National Lottery genuinely famous again and refocus our attention onto the players and get people dreaming about winning the Lottery again. To do this, we decided to tell an entertaining story about what winning the lottery can do for an everyday person and the people around them.
Execution
‘The Chase’ marks a new chapter for National Lottery advertising, focusing on the joy of winning and how it makes a difference to not just one person, but to many. Full of jeopardy and humour, ‘The Chase’ provided much-needed levity at a time of significant pressure for many in the UK.
