OVERVIEW

Execution

By Partnering with a humor website, they published a fake news article about a 12-year-old girl who received breast implants and posed nude in order to pay for a trip to Disney World. At the end of the article, there was a link to view the photos and whoever clicked this link would have to provide their personal information, like name and e-mail, through a Facebook application.

Instead of viewing the nude photos, the person’s name would appear behind bars with a statement saying that viewing child pornography is illegal.

There were over 60 thousand people that clicked the link.

Outcome

More than 1600 people saying that they'll pay attention to their symptoms and would even get treatment.

Bandeiras Brancas has received thanking feedbacks until this day, coming from users who proactively searched for medical doctors and underwent treatment.

The campaign was featured in the media, the main television channel in prime time. In addition to other 4 channels, several radio stations, newspapers, magazines and thousands of sites.

Over 40 million people have seen the campaign.
